Furniture Donation Pickup Services
Over the last 21 years, customers have asked us if we could remove some unwanted furniture, and we did it for a disposal fee. Today, we have changed our approach and decided that this unwanted furniture can be used by “Frunitures banks,” which takes furniture donations and gives it to people needing home furnishings. The first step was to contact the real estate agents we partner with and ask them to have the customer contact us; we send our movers to pick up the donated furniture for Free, which worked very well the first few weeks. After that, we sent over ten truckloads to furniture banks. We saw how our actions affected some people’s lives. We decided to take another step forward and offer our customers the option to give us their unwanted furniture and bring them to the donation center to be donated and reused by others.
They say one person’s trash is another person’s treasure.
We at Carmel movers have always been involved in our community, but being involved was not enough for us, so we decided to take a step forward and say, " Let’s do something different”.
How It’s Done
If you have unwanted furniture you want to donate, we will collect it on move day and take it to our warehouse. Once a week, we take all furniture donations to a furniture bank.
Please advise: you must notify Carmel Movers in advance if you have Furniture to donate; our movers can only take furniture donations if instructed by our office.
It’s important to remember a few things : your truck’s size is usually based on the shipment size you are moving. We may not have space on the moving truck to take this furniture, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your move consulting with a list of furniture donation to make sure it all fit on move day if we believe it’s not going to fit on the moving truck on moving day with the rest of your shipment we will work with you for a solution.
